In light of Prince Philip retiring from public duty the department has published a photo and short article detailing his visit to the Godwin lab in 1982.Click here to view.

The former site of the Godwin Laboratory has been demolished and then excavated and examined by the Cambridge Archaeological Unit. The surprising finds are illustrated below and have also been reported in the Cambridge News. 

The Godwin Lab will be closed from Friday 23rd December until Tuesday 3rd January 2017 along with the rest of the department.
